Best-selling author grants story rights
International best-selling author, Michael Marshall Smith is working alongside Pangaea to adapt one of his books, 'When God Lived in Kentish Town' for film. Its a rare award and speaks volumes for Smith's faith in our team; other stories by the same author have sold in seven figure deals to Spielberg amongst others. The screenplay is in the final stages with casting and production to begin shortly.
Star signs up for film project
MyAnna Buring, who shot to stardom with a leading role in the 2006 hit movie 'The Descent', has agreed to appear in our short film 'When God Lived in Kentish Town', written by acclaimed author Michael Marshall Smith. Director Karl Lear commented, 'We're overjoyed that MyAnna has signed up, it epitomises the faith that she and the rest of the crew have in this great project.'
Yelena short-listed for award
Pangaea's motion graphics designer and editor Yelena has been short-listed for 'Most Innovative Newcomer' in the 2007 PMP Media Innovation Awards. Yelena was recognised for, amongst other projects, her work on the Animated Exeter promo.
Pangaea recruits international talent
Yelena was Senior promo Director for BTTV in Belarus. Previously Yelena worked for Saatchi's and Benetton, and in addition to her tv portfolio Yelena runs her own business specialising in fashion photography.
